Mildred Spencer
SPENCER, MILDRED C. - Mildred C. Spencer of Salisbury formerly of Riverview, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, November, 17th, 2011, at the age of 80. Born in Lloydminster, Sask, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Gallington) Tweedie. Midge was a RN, having worked at The Moncton Hospital for many years; she enjoyed bridge and was a long time member of St. Paul’s United Church, Riverview. She is survived by her son William “Bill”, (Angela) of Colpitts Settlement, grandchildren; Ryan and Anthony, a brother, David Tweedie (Geraldine) of Miramichi, a sister Francis Keith (late John)of London, ON, sister-in-law Merilyn Hawley (John) of Riverview, sister in-law-Gladys Spencer (late Reginald) of Georgeville, PQ, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Darrell in 2005.
Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Fun-eral Home on Monday, November 21 from 1 to 2 pm. The Memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Steve Berube presiding. The family would like to thank Dr. J. Pare and the staff on the 5th, and 6th, floor of The Moncton Hospital for their excellent care. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
