The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, of Everett Brenton Rogers of South Shore Villa, Crapaud, and formerly of Chelton, aged 83 years. Everett was born on Sept. 6, 1928, in Chelton to his late parents George and Bertha (nee Campbell) Rogers. Survived by his son Ricky (Coleen), his daughter Krista Dawn and their mother Donna Rogers. Also remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Everett was predeceased by his sisters and brothers: Jenny, Ruby, Marion, Pansy, Margaret, Caroline, Lewis, Wyman and Haviland. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Tuesday, Nov. 22, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, St. Eleanors. Memorial donations in Everett’s memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
