Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home on Thursday, November 17th, 2011, Mae Rodgers (nee Hussey), aged 82 years, originally from Port de Grave. Predeceased by first husband Don White and second husband Gordon Rodgers. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons and their families: Bill (Betty Lou), David (Ellen), and Robert; grandchildren Tamara, Sandy, Tatum (Mike), Jennifer, Stephen (Jennifer), Rebecca (Neil), Jonathan and Nicholas; great- grandchildren Jett, Colby, and Kinley Mae; sisters: Effie and Cass; and brothers: Eli (Sylvia) and Eldon (Bertha); as well as a large circle of other family and friends. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of Agnes Pratt for their loving and compassionate care during Mae’s time at the home. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Saturday and Sunday from 2–4 p.m. and 7–9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from Barrett’s Chapel on Monday, November 21st at 2:00 pm.
