July 8, 1926 - November 6, 2011

On November 6, 2011 we were deeply saddened by the sudden loss of a loving grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in-law.

We wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our relatives and friends for their kindness and support during such a difficult time. Many thanks to those who expressed sympathy through prayers, phone calls, sending of flowers, cards, gifts of food, donations to the Western Memorial Hospital Foundation, for visiting the funeral home and to those who attended the funeral service, we are truly grateful.

Thank you to Alice Gabriel for being the organist and Imelda Sparkes. To Agnes McCarthy for all your help with the service and to Monsignor Jim Robertson for going above and beyond and the beautiful and memorable service.

A special thanks to the pallbearers. To Mindy Holloway and the staff of Fillatre’s Funeral Home, we would like to express our deep appreciation for your caring and professionalism during this difficult time.

We would like to thank Dr. Mark Smallwood for your professional care of our grandmother and to all the staff of 4 South, Corner Brook Long Term Care Center, words can’t express our appreciation and gratitude that you showed to her and our family.

Although it is impossible to thank you all individually, please be assured that your kindness, support and thoughtfulness in our time of sorrow will always be remembered.
