It is with great sadness that the family of Laura Gwendolyn Follett-Healey (nee Miller) announce her passing at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 21st, 2011 at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by her husband Edison (Ed) Follett and her second husband Gus Healey; infant son Eddie Follett; her daughter Myrtle Sears; granddaughter Joanne Smith and great-granddaughters Jenna Salter and Emma Follett; her sisters Minnie Garland, Sophie Snow, Blanche Lawrence, Martha (Mott) Rose, Olive Somerton and Violet Garland-Miller. She will be greatly missed by her family, sons Bill (Patsy), Gord (June), Alex (Bride), Olive (the late Joe Smith), Forrest (Linda), Geoff (Laura), Randy (Lilly), and Walter (Veronica) and her 42 grandchildren, over 50 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law Helen (Eric) Crummell and Mary (the late Harry Follett). Also many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place from Caul’s Chapel on Friday, November 25th, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
