Aged 69, passed peacefully away at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit, surrounded by family and friends on Monday, November 21, 2011. Predeceased by his parents William & Katherine and sister Janet. Leaving to mourn his loving and faithful wife of 46 years, Fabyan; daughters Bonnie and Dawn; son Ian (Alison) and two granddaughters Claire and Sarah, whom he adored; brothers John (Lori), Gerard (Roberta), David (Agnes), Edward and Terry; sisters Theresa (Ray), Barbara (Ned), Mary, Carmella, Madeline (Ray) and Paula (Tom); sisters-in-law Denise (Ron), Ursula (Don), Lucy and Desales; brother-in-law Loyola (Ann); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends, especially Ron Murphy. Special thanks to the staff of HMS Penitentiary for your years of kindness, which we never could repay. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Thursday, November 24th, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, November 25th, from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held at Mary Queen of the World Parish on Topsail Road on Saturday, November 26th, at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
