Francis Nason
NASON, FRANCIS - Francis Vincent Nason of Tracy, NB, passed away suddenly at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on November 23, 2011. Francis was born on April 3, 1943 to the late George and Sadie (Blackmore) Nason. Francis is survived by his wife of 43 years Margaret (Harris) Nason. He will be greatly missed by his four daughters; Pam (Tim) Mott of Fredericton Junction, Ann (Miles) Boone of Gagetown, Sharon (Dow) Brown of Mazzerolle Settlement and Patti (Mike) Dempsey of Tracy. As well his passing has left a void in the lives of his five grandchildren; Andrew and Nick Mott, Rebecca and Vanessa Boone and Gage Dempsey. He will be missed by his five Sisters; Doris Robinson, Marjorie Alexander, Velma (Dale) Aubin, Esther (Ronald) Woodworth and Rose (John) Kelly, his five brothers; Byron (Leona), Stafford (Gloria), Lester (Murielle), Randy (Annie) and Errol (Dorothy) and a sister in law Kash Nason along with several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Stuart, half sister Beulah Mersereau and half brothers Perley, Travis and Smith Nason. Francis worked as an electrician for many years receiving his license while working for Dobbelsteyn’s Electrical, and then working for CFB Gagetown until his retirement. After retiring he worked part time at the Fredericton Junction Irving and helped out around the Tracy Community Centre and enjoyed spending time being with his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home to pay respects to family on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be from Sunbury Funeral Home on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 2pm with Rev. Josh Cameron officiating and assisted by Rev. Steven Aubin. Interment will be in the Tracy Baptist Cemetery. Due to allergies, the family respectfully requests only artificial flowers or you may express your sympathy by making a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB or a charity of your choice.
