It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Matthew Bennett announce his passing at the Palliative Care Unit in the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday November 24, 2011 at the age of 62 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Susan, sons: Paul (Hannah), Wayne (Margo), Joey, Colin (Samantha), daughters: Tammy (Derek Davis), Jennifer (Adam Vogt), sisters: Audrey (Tony Megalezzi), Margie (Ernie Wheeler), Joanie (Charlie Larkin), Shirley (Wayne Martin), Marie (Fred Dobbin), Janet, brother, Wayne, 11 grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, and his special camping and hunting buddies. He is predeceased by father Matthew Joseph Bennett (1971), mother Mary Cavell Bennett-Prosper (1999), brother Lewis Bennett, and grandchildren Anthony Cluett and Shania Park. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Friday November 25, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church on Saturday November 26, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Michael Rice officiating, interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
