Gloria Dunstan
DUNSTAN, GLORIA E. - Gloria E. Dunstan, 80, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital on Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Born in Léger’s Corner, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Ada (Bustin) Forbes. Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of Highfield Baptist Church, former choir member, member of the Laura Lee Bustin WMS and the Young at Heart Seniors Group. Gloria enjoyed camping, watching television game shows, was an avid Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs fan, but most importantly, was time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Gloria will be deeply missed by her husband of over 59 years, Leo Dunstan; her children, Stephen (Beverley) of Moncton, Brian (Judith) of Quispamsis and Judy Marsh (Robert) of Moncton; precious grandchildren, Leigh-Ellen Thomas (David), Alicia Knock (Christopher), David Dunstan, Nicholas Dunstan, Seth Dunstan and Kylie Marsh; several nieces and nephews. Gloria was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Donald and Eldon.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, November 27, 2011, 2:00 pm, Rev. Troy Dennis officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In Gloria’s memory, donations to Highfield Baptist Church Memorial Fund or the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital (Oncology Unit) would be appreciated.
