MALENFANT, LORRAINE - Lorraine Catherine Malenfant with her family at her side at Woodland Villa on Sunday, November 20, 2011. Lorraine (Bourgeois) Malenfant of Long Sault; in her 94th year. She and her identical twin sister were born in Memramcock N. B. to the late Abbe Bourgeois and Leonie (Mills) Bourgeois, January 4, 1918. Faithful wife and companion of the late Ferdinand Malenfant. She took great joy in motherhood and raised her five children with humour , love and often unconventional opinions on everything. She will be sadly missed by of Denis (Gail) of Muskoka, Marilyn Ault (Carl) of Lunenburg, Michael (Carol) of Ile Perrot, Jane Wood of Toronto, and David (Natalie) of Bourdeaux France. She also enjoyed and left lasting memories with her fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She leaves behind two sisters Emma Gautreau (the late Bill) of Moncton and Yolande Letinin (the late Frank) of New Westminster B.C. She is predeceased by her siblings, her twin sister Bernadette Briggs (Hiram) of Peterborough, Bertha Tower (Ross) of Sackville N.B., three brothers Francis (Coreen), Aldrice (Laudia) and Camil Eugene Bourgeois all of Memramcock N.B.
Cremation. The family will be in attendance at Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh St. West, Cornwall, Ontario (613-932-8482) from 12 Noon until the time of service. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday December 3, 2011 for Service in the Memorial Chapel at 1 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimers Society of the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
