RAIBL, June Virginia – Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, January 8, 1934, passed away peacefully in Kelowna, November 23, 2011 after battling Alzheimer’s for 6 years. Married Ed(win) Raibl April 15, 1952 who died tragically in 1963. June was survived by her son, Daryl (Lorraine); daughter, Susan (Jerry); grandchildren, Eliot, Kelsey and Garett; Daughter Brenda passed suddenly in 1993. June was predeceased by her parents Syd and Irene (Mae) Fewson, survived by brother Ken Fewson, sister, Donna Schiller.
Through the tragedies in her life she always maintained a zest for life and ‘go get ‘em’ attitude. Independent as the wind she loved to jump in old Betsy and visit family and friends across Western Canada. June would greet everyone with her charismatic and infectious smile which earned her the hearts of many of her Kelowna friends. “We’ll always love and remember you mum!”
