At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Thursday, November 24, 2011, of Otis Carver of Alliston, age 84 years.
Beloved husband of Florence (nee Campbell). Loving father of Mary (Allan) Niesbet, Hunter River; Kathy Carver, New Glasgow, NS; Robert (Patricia), Alliston; Keith Carver, Alliston; Dennis (Shawna), Charlottetown; and Bonnie (Alan) Beck, Kingsboro. Cherished grandfather of Samantha and Sydney Carver, Travis, Thayne and Paige Campbell. Dear brother of Lillian Dixon, Tom (Minnie), Mary Matheson and Janet (Basil) Higginbotham. Also survived by brothers-in-law, Reg Mellish and Everett Dixon and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sisters, Sadie Dixon, Marjorie Mellish, Rae MacKinnon; brother, Fred Carver; brothers-in-law, Grant Dixon, George Matheson, Alexander MacKinnon; and sister-in-law, Elsie Carver.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Peters Road Cemetery. Visitation: Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
