BYRON, RETA EVELYN (GILLETT) – Reta Evelyn (Gillett) Byron of Hoyt, NB passed away at Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital on November 25, 2011 at the age of 74. She was born in Saint John November 22, 1937. Reta was a Homemaker to her eight children. She is survived by five daughters: Linda Morrison (Howard) of Hoyt, Nellie Byron of Fredericton, Sherry Byron (Ray) of Ont, Shelly Byron , Julie Byron both of Hoyt, three sons: Raymond Gillet of Hoyt, Ronald Gillet (Carol) of Harvey, Steven Gillet (Christine) of Hoyt. Six sisters; Bernice, Joan, Rose, Pearl, Lucy, Lorrette. Five Brothers; Norman, Mike, Charlie, Peter, Melvin, and one special daughter, along with 16 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Reta is predeceased by her mother Clara (Gillet) Nichols and stepfather Peter Nichols, one brother Sam, daughter in law Marlene Gillet and twin grand-daughters Megan and Mackenzie Byram.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home to pay respects on November 27, 2011 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be from Sunbury Funeral Home on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. James Lewis officiating. Interment will be in the Patterson Cemetery at a later date.
