GAUDET, THÉRÈSE - Thérèse Gaudet, 88, wife of the late Émile Gaudet of Residence O’ Bons Soins, Shediac, and formerly of Memramcook, passed away on Saturday November 26 2011 at the Dr-George-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born September 14, 1923 in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Suzanne (Richard) Gaudet. She was retired as a school teacher in the Memramcook Valley. She is survived by her nine children : Cécile LeBlanc (Charles) and Jeanne Landry (Bernard) of Dieppe, Nicole LeBlanc (Bertrand), Léon (Phyllis), Alberte Gautreau (Normand), and Fernand of Memramcook, Lorraine LeBlanc (Marc) of Grand-Barachois, Anne-Marie Frenette (Jean-Marc) and Michel (Phyllis) of Dieppe; 17 grandchildren: Yves, Sophie, Mélanie, Stéphane, Margot, Justin, Jérémie, Conrad, Janie, Nicolas, Julien, Janique, Catherine, René, Alex, Émilie, Jasmine; threee great-grand-children : Annabelle, Véronique, Andrew; and her brother, Donatien Gaudet (Nilda). Besides her husband, Thérèse is also predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Sr. Anne-Marie, Simonne, Léopold, Charles-Edouard, Valmore, and Léon-Guy.
The family will receive condolences at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 Route de la Vallée, Memramcook (758-2658). Visiting hours Tuesday, November 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. until departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Thomas R.C. Church, Memramcook, on Wednesday, November 30 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Thérèse, a donation to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
