Passed peacefully away at the Glenbrook Lodge on November 25, 2011. Formerly of Lolly Cove (Fortune Bay). Elvina Keeping, aged 90 years. Predeceased by her husband Benjamin Pike Keeping; brothers: Benjamin and Alex Drake; and sister Pearl Parsons. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons: Carl Keeping (Gail) and Dave Keeping (Janet); grandchildren: Elliott Keeping (Andrea), Anthony Keeping (Amy), Allen Keeping (Mandy) and Valerie Keeping (Shane); great-grandchildren: Emma and Owen; sister Lilly (Orlando Tibbo); sisters-in-law: Rhoda Drake and Nita Keeping; brother-in-law Heber Parsons; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff of Glenbrook Lodge and Meadow Creek Retirement Home. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
