Lawrence (Lolly) Putt

February 13, 1947 – November 25th, 2011. Passed away peacefully at home in Horse Chops, Cape Broyle, surrounded by his family, Lawrence (Lolly) Putt, formerly of the Goulds, after a 14 year long battle with Alzheimher’s Disease. Predeceased by his parents, Timothy and Lucy Putt of the Goulds. Also predeceased by mother in law, Marion Ingerman (Mudder) in 2007. Mourning their loss, but celebrating the life of this exceptional man are his wife Patricia (Pat) Singleterry; daughter Kerry SIngleterry (Husband Todd Rahal) and grandchildren Bill, Tom, and Patrick from the Goulds; Son Cliff Singleterry (Wife Cori) and grandchildren Rylee and Rachael from Vancouver, B.C.; brothers, Billy Putt (Wife Geraldine) and family of the Goulds; and Norman Putt (Wife Shirley) and family of Pasadena; and sister Peggy St.Croix (husband Henny) and family of the Goulds; Special Uncle, Jimmy Putt (Predeceased by Aunt Rita) and Aunt Agnes (AG) Putt (Predeceased by Uncle Willie) and their families; brothers in-law, Fred Ingerman and family (predeceased by his wife Bridie and Doug (Buck) Ingerman (Wife Carol) and son of the Goulds; and sisters inlaw, Linda Hall (husband Richard) and family of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Elizabeth (toots) Hawco (husband Vince) and family of Cambridge, ON; Debbie Drimmie (husband Terry) and family of Lamanche Road. Also remembering Lolly’s gentle and giving nature are a huge circle of cousins, family and friends in Horse Chops, Cape Broyle and the Goulds, Coworkers at modern paving, where he worked for 25 years. Special thanks to caregivers, Christine Walsh of Ferryland, Sandie O’Brien of Cape Broyle and his sister in law Bobbie Drimmie, and niece Chrystal Ingerman who granted him his wish to stay home. God bless your kindness and compassion and support (and strong backs!) Cremation has taken place. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Tuesday, November 29th and Wednesday, November, 30th from 2-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St.Kevin’s R.C. Church, Goulds on Thursday, December 1st, 2011 at 10am. No flowers by request.
