Suddenly at Eastern Passage, N.S., on Friday, November 25, 2011, of Christy Jo Rochford, age 36, and darling infant son Carter John Mitton.
Beloved life partner and cherished son of Christopher M. Mitton and loving mother and brother to Cooper. Loving daughter and grandson to Gary and Beverly (nee England) Rochford of Alberton, P.E.I., and formerly of Riverview, N.B.; Karen Ogden (Doug) Pond of Moncton, N.B.; and Myron Mitton of Halifax, N.S. Dear sister and nephew to Heidi Rochford Reid of Moncton. Sadly missed by their many aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by grandparents/great-grandparents, Vernon and Blanche (Miller) England, John and Ferne (nee Easter) Rochford.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours on Tuesday, November 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday afternoon, November 30, from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Alberton, at 2 p.m., Rev. Andrew Mortimer officiating. Interment in St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
