Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, November 24, 2011, of Margaret Rose Hughes (nee Doucette), age 76 years, and at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, November 26, 2011, of Reginald Leo Hughes, age 81 years.
Loving parents of Nancy Hughes (Howard “Jack” Reid), Larry Hughes (Juanita), Sheila Hughes (John Gallant) and daughter-in-law Adrienne Hughes. Lovingly remembered by their grandchildren Vaughn and Rebecca MacDonald, Mariah and Kurt Hughes, Jordan, Taylor and Conor Storey, Summer Hughes and by their great-grandchildren Skye, Brooklyn, Tylar and Kamryn. Margaret is survived by brothers Vernon, Donald, Terry and Réné Doucette. Reginald is survived by his sisters Ruth DeCoste (Maurice) and Doris McCallum. Predeceased by their son James Andrew Hughes.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Wednesday at 9:45 a.m., then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation - P.E.I. Chapter or to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
