Donald D. Boudreau, 65 years of age, of Amherst, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at the Northumberland Hall.
Born in River Hebert he was a son of the late Leon & Myrtle (Edwards) Boudreau.
Donald served with United Nations Peace Keeping Missions UNDOF and UNEFII. With NATO in Lahr Germany and at various bases throughout Canada. Retired from the RCAF in 1992 with 32 years of service, returning to Amherst in 2008.
He is survived by wife Geraldine (Munro), Amherst; son Stephen, Montreal; granddaughter Zoya, Montreal; brother Gary (Eileen), Baronsfield, NS; sister Judith Boudreau, Calgary. He was predeceased by son Trevor in 2000.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St. Amherst, NS. At Donald's request there will be no public service or visiting hours. A private family burial will take place in the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery at a later date.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
