It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Spence Koehler on Monday, November 28, 2011. Spence was born July 7, 1953 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to Father, Walter Koehler and Mother, Gladys (Bea) Lawson. He is predeceased by his parents and brother, Russell. Spence is survived by his loving wife, Lynn; children, Briony (Darrin), Rebecca (Allen), Angela (Bill) and Chris (Christina); grandchildren, Brittany, Bryden, Braxton, Jordana, Samuel, Jasper, Emma, Tristan, Parker and Riley; and brothers, Ken (Alphonsine), Bryan, Kelly (Marcy) and sister, Debbie (Dick). Spence’s heart belonged to his wife, children, grandchildren, family and his many friends. He enjoyed life to the fullest and treasured the many laughs and good times he had. Some of his greatest loves were spending time at the farm and sitting around a campfire with those he loved the most. His outgoing personality and sense of humour will live forever in our hearts and we will never forget the wonderful times that we shared with him. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Avenue, Regina, SK. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers.
