Peacefully at the Garden Home on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 of Mrs. Gertie Doiron of Charlottetown, age 85 years.
Beloved wife of the late Clayton Doiron and dear mother of Darlene Doiron of Stratford, Susan Doiron of Dartmouth and Cindy (Kenny) McGuirk of Kanata, Ont. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Ashley and Connor McGuirk, Rachel Hillier; her sisters, Marion Taylor (John dec), Eleanor "Nassie" (Edward) Doiron; sister-in-law, Betty Shephard of Charlottetown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Gerald and Eddie Shepherd and infant brother, Richard Allan.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Monday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
