Passed away at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s on Monday, December 5th, 2011, Walter Best of Southern Harbour, age 85 years. Predeceased by his mother Mary, father Maurice, brother Mike, sisters: Minnie, Annie & Theresa. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Esther Gayle (Gary), of Clarenville and Randy (Florence) of Southern Harbour; grandchildren: Darryl, Shawn (Chantel), Randell (Holly) and Jonathan (Brittany); great-grandchildren: Cameron, Emily and AaLiyah; brother George (Blanche); sisters: Mary, Josephine, Joyce Collins (Joseph) and Esther Collins (Ignatisus), and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Christ the King Church, Southern Harbour. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 2:00. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Southern Harbour.
