The family of Russ Dickie, of Ottawa, formerly of Amherst, is saddened to inform friends and family of his passing in Ottawa on December 7, 2011 at the age of 60.
Russ was a single man who had his struggles with life, but who brought much joy and love to his family and close friends.
He is predeceased by his father, Thomas (1972) and his oldest brother Owen (1986). He is survived by his mother Launa (Matheson), Amherst; brothers Bob (Chris), Tom (Peg); sisters Marg (George Elliott), Milly (Don McCoy), Linda (Mike Wakeham), Wendy (Derrick Kittchen) and Dora (Robbie Rogers); several nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends who will miss him very much.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong~Jones Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place and his remains will return home to rest with his dad and his brother in Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later date.
