It is with sadness that the families of the late Stella Gladys Parsons announce her passing on November 22, 2011 at the Carmelite Seniors Home, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL at the age of 87 years. Stella is predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Parsons; parents, Dawe & Esther King; sisters, Olive and Winnie; brother in infancy, and a sister in infancy. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughters, Phronie (Clayton) Eastman, Marion (Neville) Hopwood, and Sylvia (Gerald) Healey; son, Kenneth (Jean) Parsons; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grand-children and 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Willis (Eileen). The visitation took place Thursday, November 24, 2011 at 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand-Falls-Windsor, NL. The funeral service was held Friday, November 25, 2011 at 11 am from The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel with Major Owen and Sharon Rowsell officiating.
