Jerry Gerald Lawrence Duplessis age 56 of West Leicester passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Cumberland Regional HealthCare Centre in Upper Nappan with his loving family by his side.
Jerry was born in Moncton, NB, but spent his life at his home in Nova Scotia. For 30 years he was a valued employee of Oxford Frozen Foods in Oxford.
Jerry will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving sons, Cory and Sky; his mother Milly Lounsbury; brothers, Ordie and Wesley; sisters, Linda and Heather; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Jerry was predeceased by much loved daughter Jennifer Duplessis and father Harvey Tulley.
Jerry will miss his co-workers at Oxford Frozen Foods; they were a constant in his life. He was a special person to all children who entered his life. He had a positive impact on their lives and will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Campbell’s Funeral Home, Amherst (667-9906). A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the West Leicester Fire Hall from 12-4 p.m.
The family would like to say a warm thank you to all the staff at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre for making our Dad’s last days cheerful and comfortable.
