LEONARD McLENNAN
Leonard Charles McLennan, age 67, beloved husband of Shirley McLennan of Rural Prince Albert passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon with family by his side. Len is survived by his loving family: his wife Shirley; son Lloyd of Prince Albert; daughter Karen (Chris Podolecki) of Calgary; three sisters Shirley Goreau of Saskatoon, Faye (Lionel) Androsoff of Blaine Lake and Donna (Jerry) Reader of Saskatoon as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Charlie and Dena (nee Soderlund) McLennan and his brothers Floyd and Lyle. Len was born on November 27, 1941 in Prince Albert, SK and has lived here all his life being a business man in different fields. Len opened his first dealership in Prince Albert under Honda Car Sales, operated the Shell and Texaco stations and a Used Car Sales Lot, retiring in his late 50’s. He later drove for P.A. Northern Bus and most recently for the Special Needs Transportation and First Bus. At Len’s request cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
