THOMPSON, RAYMOND - Raymond M. Thompson, 81, formerly of Scoudouc passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011 at the Villa Providence Home, Shediac. Born January 18, 1930 in Mannville, Alberta, he was the son of the late Edward P. Thompson and the late Nellie Gausden. Raymond was a Korean Veteran having served in Korea from 1953 to 1954, Egypt from 1960 to 1961. He was in the military service for 20 years. He worked for Supply Depot #5 in Moncton in the construction engineering department. Raymond was born into a family of ten children. He is predeceased by his wife Marie (Dallaire) Thompson (March 30, 2011) and by several brothers and sisters.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment of his ashes will be in St. Jacques le Majeur Cemetery, Scoudouc in the spring.
