HAYNES, Vernetta Laine (Sullivan) – 70, Annapolis Royal passed away November 14, 2011 in Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born in Freeport she was a daughter of the late Carl and Charlotte (Howard) Sullivan. She is survived by her son Larry, Granville Ferry; daughter Rose Haynes, Kings Meadow; brothers Hartwell, Freeport, Stewart, Digby; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Percy; sister Maurine Titus, daughter in law, Leslie Solomon. A memorial service was held at the United Baptist Church, Victoria Beach; on December 17, 2011 at 2 p.m. followed by burial. Donations in Vernetta’s memory may be made to the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
