Helen Christina MacDougall, 94, Bridgetown passed away at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton on Dec. 20, 2011.
Born in Christmas Island, Cape Breton on Dec. 25, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Archibald and Elizabeth (Hartigan) MacDougall.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Mary, Elizabeth, Johanna; brothers, Michael and Bernard.
Helen is survived by nieces, Maureen, Rosaire, Bernadette (Bebe), Cecilia, Mary, Rosemary, Theresa, Margaret and Paula; nephews, Michael, Alasdair, Mark and Bernard; grandnieces and grandnephews.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass will be Jan. 7, 2012 at 2 p.m. in St Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Bridgetown with Fr. John MacPherson officiating. Interment will be at a later date in West Palm Beach, Florida.
