Born March 31, 1924 in Edinburgh Scotland, Died December 19, 2011

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Isobel Jones. She died peacefully at the Kamloops Hospice House following a very brief but aggressive battle with cancer.

Isobel is predeceased by her husband and best friend Major Roy Jones.

Left to mourn her loss are her two children Steven (Lorna), and Dr. Carol-Anne Faint (Rowan), and grandchildren Ryan, Rosalee and Linnaya, all of Kamloops.

Isobel grew up in Edinburgh Scotland and during WWII, she met Roy, they wed, and following the war, returned to Royís homeland, Canada. They lived an Armed Forces life, raised a family and settled in Kamloops in 1970. Isobel led a very active life in the community enjoying decades of golf and kinship with the girls at the Kamloops Golf Course. She enjoyed years of special time babysitting her granddaughters while making time for playing bridge with the old Valleyview gang and visiting with her many friends.

Mom, you will be missed terribly
by all who knew and loved you
and you will forever remain
a bright light in our hearts.

There will be no funeral service at her request.
