PARKS, BEULAH (BELL) - Beulah Parks of Moncton, NB, formerly of Derby, NB passed away peacefully with her family by her side, following a brief battle with cancer on December 26th, 2011 at the Dr Georges L-Dumont University Hospital, at the age of 75. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Dora Bell. She is survived by her loving husband, John Parks of 56 years of marriage; one daughter, Kimberly (Mike) Rowe of Atlanta, Georgia; two sons, Steven (Adele) Parks of St-Albert, Alberta and Cecil (Nicole) Parks of Grande-Digue, NB and five grandchildren, Burgundy, Echo, Steven-John, Cecil-Charleston and Alexandre. She is also survived by five sisters, Olive, Connie, Doris, Lois and Betty; two brothers, Perley and Cecil and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son, Terrance-John; two brothers, Boyd and William; a niece, Joy and a nephew, Mark. Beulah was a devoted wife and mother. She had numerous interests and hobbies which included quilting, knitting, sewing, cooking, reading and she also liked curling, music and dancing. She never missed a chance to pick berries and play with her grandchildren. She appreciated her time spent at their cottage on the Miramichi with family and friends. It is there that she enjoyed working in her memorial garden.
Resting at the Bell's Funeral Homes, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB with visitation on Thursday December 29th, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at St Peter's Anglican Church in Millerton, NB on Friday December 30th, 2011 at 11:00am with Father Gerry Laskey. In Beulah's memory, donations may be made to the St Peter's Cemetery Fund, the Canadian Cancer Society or to the donor's choice.
