Passed away peacefully at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital, St. Anthony on Dec. 23, 2011, Mrs. Lydia Wells of Brig Bay, NL, in her 72nd year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Vera (Norman); granddaughter Renotta Myra (Neil), extended family Myra (Gerald), Fabian (Colleen), Anisha and Tyler, and Shannon (Kimberly), the Wells, Samson, Applin, and Spingle families. She was predeceased by her husband William, mother Harriett Spingle, brothers Robert, William, James, Peter, Donald, sisters Cora and Elsie. Visitation was held at the Church of the Advent in Plum Point from where the funeral service was held on Monday, Dec. 26 at 11a.m. with Rev. Harold Harvey and Lay Reader Matt Osbourne officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director .
