HAWKINS, Thelma Patricia - 88 of South Farmington, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Imperoyal, NS she was a daughter of the late Carl Olaf and Ina Louise (Feener) Hagman.Thelma was a member of the Kingston United Church and the beauty of nature and all wildlife creatures were special to her. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her husband Frank A. Hawkins, whom she married May 27, 1942; son, Frank P. Hawkins (Lynn Boone), Bayport, Lunenburg Co.; granddaughters, Amanda Hawkins; Katherine Harpell; great granddaughter, Alexandra Harpell and great grandson, Andrew Harpell. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Vera Nixon and Alma Beattie and brother, Arnold L. Hagman. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held Monday, January 2, 2012, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448, with Rev. Karen Ralph and Rev. Joseph Manchester officiating.
