MERCER, WILLIAM WENDELL "BILL" - William "Bill" Wendell Mercer passed away suddenly at his home in Orillia on Thursday, January 5, 2012; at the age of 81. Bill, beloved husband of the late Myrna (nee Putnam). Loving father of Pamela (Harold) Keeping of Mississauga, Thomas Mercer of Whitby, Marilyn (John) Goodall of Mississauga, Elizabeth (Donald) Hutcheson of Cobourg, daughter-in-law Arlene Mercer and predeceased by his sons Bill and infant Paul. Cherished grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Brother of Doreen Hussey, Clara (Bruce) McCalla and Rowena Kerr (predeceased). Brother-in-law of June (David, predeceased) Hammond. Bill will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
The late Mr. Mercer will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow.
