ESTEY, PHYLLIS IRENE - With sadness, the family of Phyllis Irene Estey of Fredericton, NB, announces her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on January 6, 2012. She was born in Fredericton, NB, the daughter of the late Merlin and Janet (McLeod) Fox and the wife of the late Perley Estey. She was also predeceased by her parents-in-law, the late Blanche and Murray Estey. Loving mother of David Estey (Louise) of Scotchtown, NB, Elaine Nevison (Ken) of Mississauga, ON, Paul Estey (Cara) of Fredericton, NB, and Eric Estey (Diane) of Edmonton, AB. Proud grandmother of Laura, Craig, and Carlen Estey; Stephanie Nevison, Janis Brearley and Jennifer Nevison-Vyvyan; David and Taylor Kidney and great grandmother of Liam and Emma Brearley, Benjamin and Ethan Nevison-Vyvyan. Survived by two sisters, Janet Reicker of Sussex, NB and Marie Jardine (Arch) of Winnipeg, MB; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Archibald (Don) of Miramichi City, NB and Margaret Whalen (Richard) of Ottawa, ON; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held in the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm. with Rev. H. G. MacKenzie officiating. Interment will be in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to thank Drs. Kerr and Gowan and all the nursing staff of 4 south east for their professional care and compassion during her stay in hospital.
