MUNN, JONATHAN FREDERICK - Mr. Jonathan Frederick Munn son of the late Oral and Jessie (Carson) Munn of Holtville NB, husband of Elva (Stewart) Munn passed away on January 12, 2012 at the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home in Boiestown at the age of 85. Born on April 1, 1926, John was a trucker, woodsman, bus driver, car salesman, service station attendant, politician, guide, ambulance driver and farmer. John was very active in the church and instrumental in starting the church at Taymouth. John is survived by his wife Elva (Stewart) Munn of Holtville NB, one daughter Cindy (Roy) Munn of Holtville, sons Frederick Munn of Helen Georgia, Kenneth (Suzanne), Eugene (Jane) of Fredericton NB, and Wayne (Arlene) Saint John NB, sisters Mary Ann (Albert) White, Flora (Russell) Pollock, Beatrice (James) Boies, Hazel (Edward) Hiscock, Ellen Lien, Iva Savage and one sister-in-law Madeline (James), grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by three sisters Edith, Mae and Eva, three brothers, Nelson, James and Arthur, and granddaughter Misty Munn.
Mr. Jonathan Frederick Munn is resting at the Nashwaak Valley Pentecostal Church in Taymouth, with visitation today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 16, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Nashwaak Valley Pentecostal Church with Rev. Michael Trail and Rev Landon Decker officiating. Burial will be in Naskwaak Valley Pentecostal Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home.
