GREENHAUS, FLORENCE (FLO), passed away peacefully on January 8, 2012 at the age of 60, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Flo was born on Fogo Island and lived in Florida, where she resided until her passing. Flo earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Special Education from the University of Miami and loved working with her students. Flo is survived by her husband, Michael, her daughters, Janice and Sarah, her grandchildren, Emma and Sam, her sister, Maureen, her brothers, Art, Joe and Chris, and by her mother, Doris Newman. She is predeceased by her father, Sam Newman, and her brothers, Bill and Wall. Flo will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
