Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Care Center on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, Mary O’Leary, age 75, of Fox Harbour, P. Bay. Predeceased by her parents Edward & Ellen (Perry) Duke, husband Martin O’Leary, infant children Agnes and Thomas, son-in-law Adrian Hynes, brothers Issac, James, Alphonsus & Thomas Duke, sister Theresa Howe, grandchildren Wanda Dobbin, Maddison O’Leary and John Joe O’Leary Jr. She leaves to mourn her devoted companion Alister Bradbury; her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Tot (Bob), Kim (Adrianna) & Haley, Mart, Jennifer, Marty, Thomas, Mick, Veronica, Angie, Aaron, Nicole, Ava & Megan; Ned, Bea, John, Barb, Christopher, Shannon Lee Ann; Mary Ellen, Jack Hickey, Jonathon, Olivia, Jake; Ann Marie, Clarence Whiffen, Natasha, Kyla, Neven, C.J., Ocean & Quigley, Agnes, Junior King, Mason & Dawn. Lucy, Claudette, Roy McCue, Ryan, Matt, Lori, Alexandria, Nicholas, Mackenzie & Matthew, Tom, Shelly, April, Brandon & Tyler; sisters: Bridget Buckmaster & Ellen (Leonard) King; sister-in-law Genevieve Duke, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Wednesday from 7 - 10, Thursday 1:00 - 10:00 and Friday from 10:00 - 1:00. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 2:00 at Sacred Heart Church, Fox Harbour. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fox Harbour. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory to the Diabetic Association. The family would like to thank Father Roche for his many visits, while Mary was in hospital in St. John’s, also a heartfelt thanks to the Dr’s, Nurses and staff at the Placentia Health Care Center, especially Dr. Bulk and to Dr. Belgasim, they send their heartfelt thanks and gratitude for his care over the years.
