Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, of Helena Waite of Summerside, aged 69, wife of Herman Waite. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, on April 1, 1939, the daughter of the late Paul and Maria (Damm) Kunz. Sister of Paul Kunz, Ingna (Torston) Lawrenz, Emmi (Klaus) Ehlert all of Germany. Best friend of Lula (Wayne) DesRoches, Greenmount; Special dear friend of Debbie Gillian-Tawse, Beamsville, Ont.; sister-in-law of Willard Gay, Victoria; Sherman (Mary) Waite, O'Leary. Also survived by a niece, Maria, Germany, nephews, Alex Olo, Germany; Gary Olo, Toronto; and several other nieces, nephews aunts and uncles. Predeceased by step-son, Stephen, sister, Maria and brother-in-law, Elwyn. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Thursday in the Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the Bethel United Church Cemetery.
