MRS. KAY NELSON, late of Regina, formerly of Moose Jaw, passed away peacefully January 18, 2012 at Pasqua Hospital, Regina at the age of 85 years. Kay was an avid gardener, wonderful cook and loved her family, friends and the Lord. Predeceased by her parents; grandson, Jon Michael; two sisters, Stella and Anne; two brothers, Stanley and Mike. She leaves behind her husband, Don, daughter, Jackie; granddaughters: Julie (Kelly), Jessica and Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Israel and Jacob; brother, Peter; sisters and brothers-in-law: Arthur Nelson, Edwin (Sigrid) Nelson, Dorothy Markowsky, Elva Nelson and Bev Nelson as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Following cremation, a memorial service will take place in the spring. Special thanks to Marilyn and family of Lynn’s Care Home for the wonderful care Kay received. In lieu of flowers, donations may be forwarded to Gideon’s Bibles. In living memory of Kay, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
