The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 of Mary "Sandy" Prowse (nee Poland) of Miscouche, P.E.I., aged 80 years. Beloved wife of Sam and loving mother of Gerry (Rita) Prowse of London, ON. Survived by her sisters Sadie and Gladys and brother Hughie, all of England, and sisters-in-law Vivia (Herbert) Wilbert and Mary (Everett) Saunders. Also lovingly remembered by her three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. By family request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held.
