LÉGER, DORA - Dora Léger, 95, wife of the late Joseph Léger, formerly of Main Street Shediac, passed away on January 20th, 2012 at the Villa Providence in Shediac where she resided. Born July 15, 1916 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Alphée and Elizabeth (Boudreau) Richard. Prior to her retirement she was employed with the Villa Providence Shediac for 17 years. Dora will be greatly missed by her son, Claude (Juliette) Léger of Grand-Barachois; two step-grandchildren: Tracy (Sean) and Matthew (Page); one step-great-grandchild: Leland; a special niece, Isolla (Oscar) LeBlanc; one brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" (Irène) Boudreau, as well as several other nieces and nephews. Besides her husband "Joe", she is predeceased by two sisters: Juliette Boudreau and Edith Richard, and by a brother, Alderice Richard.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, January 22nd from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, January 23rd, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure (10:15 a.m.). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, Shediac, on Monday, January 23rd, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
