MORRIS, Perley Donald “Donnie” – 90 of Melvern Square, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Melvern Square, he was a son of the late Aubrey and Emelie (Saunders) Morris. Donnie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Donnie farmed all his life and loved to work. He loved the land and the woods and was a gifted horseman and cattleman. He was honest and hardworking and lived his life in such a way as to be an example for others and a true gentleman. He inherited these fine qualities from his parents. He is survived by his older brother, Arden, Berwick and sister-in-law Ada Morris, sister, Edna Morris, Melvern Square, daughters, Ruth Morris, Melvern Square; Donna (Rick) Pineo, Welsford; grandchildren, Dorothy (Darren) Jones, Calgary; Emelie Pineo, Annapolis Royal and Donald Pineo, Halifax. Stepchildren, Faye (Joe) Brady, Woodside and Alden (Linda) Neiley, Kingston and their children; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Norene Woodworth; his second wife, Phyllis Parks; sister, Reta Moody and brother-in-law, George Moody. Visitation was held 7:00 to 9:00PM, Thursday, January 19, 2012 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448. The funeral service was held 2:00PM, Friday, January 20, 2012 in Calvary Baptist Church, 1836 Torbrook Road, Meadowvale, Rev. Richard Jones officiating. Interment in the North Kingston Cemetery.
