It is with great sadness that the family of the late James William Humber announce his passing at the Bonne Bay Health Center, in Norris Pt, NL on Tuesday, January 31st, 2012, at the age of 89 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife; Sadie (nee Payne); children: Clarence (Carol Ann), Gus (Wavey), Irene (Greg), John, Sherry (Paul), Donna (Jason), Juanita (John) & Doris (David); siblings: Edith, Irene (Leslie), Gus (Mary), Bert (Dora) & Doug; 11 grandchildren: Jonathan, Joshua, Alex, Danielle, Jeff, Marla, John, Jimmy, Michelle, Owen & Stephanie; 7 great grandchildren: Ryan, Zachary, Belle, Carter, Nevaeh, Kowen & Abigail. James was predeceased by his children; John Todd and a stillborn child, grandchild Jimmy-Lee, his parents; Eva & John, sister; Violet, brother; Fred, brother-in-law; Ted & sister-in-law; Irene, also leaves to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from The Church of the Good Shepherd, in Norris Pt, NL today Thursday, February 2nd, 2012, from the hours of 7-9 pm & continuing on Friday, February 3rd, 2012, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Saturday, February 4th, 2012, at 11 am with the Rev: Charlene Laing officiating with the burial to follow at the Church Cemetery in Norris Pt, NL. The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
