WILSON, DAVID F. - 1946-2012 - Miramichi - David Franklin Wilson, husband of Dianne Wilson, of MacDonald Road, Glenwood and formerly of Napan, passed away at the Dr. George Dumont Hospital, on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at the age of 65. Born in Chatham, on June 25, 1946, he was the son of the late James and Vera (Jardine) Wilson. He was a former employee of Cement Cartiage Ltd, Wm. J. Kerr Ltd., as well as the N.B. Dept. of Transportation. He was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver by profession. He was an adherent of the United Church of Canada. He is survived by his wife, the former Dianne MacDonald; one daughter, Wanda Benson (Duane), of Quispamsis; one son, Mark Wilson (Tammy), of Miramichi; two grandchildren, Amber and Kyle Benson; one sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Fowler (Beverly), of Breadalbane, P.E.I.; as well as many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel,on Monday, February 6, 2012, at 2 pm, conducted by Penny Postlethwaite, assisted by Rev. Derek Krunys. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Juvenile Diabetes Assoc., or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
