Orva (Hall) McNeil of Etobicoke, Ont., passed peacefully with her family by her side at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Toronto on Feb. 4, 2012.
Born in Dominion, N.S., to the late Ralph and Nellie (MacDonald) Hall.
Orva is survived by her son Ralph Barry (Reet) of Milton, Ont., and daughter Glenda (Drew) Lowndes of Aurora, Ont.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Woodrow, Earl and Lloyd Hall, sister Jacqueline Pickup-Campbell, daughter Daleanne (Terrance) Murphy and her adoring husband of 56 years, Cameron McNeil originally from Bridgeport, N.S. Nanny’s memories will be cherished by her grandchildren, Cameron, Michael and Leah McNeil, Molly and Liam Lowndes and Maeghan Murphy.
Orva was a proud member of The Clan MacNeil of Canada.
Visitation will take place at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Etobicoke on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, starting at 10 a.m. The service, officiated by Fr. Ed MacNeil will begin at 11 a.m. with the interment immediately following.
