Russell Fulton Delaney, 70, passed away January 25, 2012 in Toronto. Russ, "Rusty" to his friends, was a former resident of Belmont, Colchester County, living most of his life in Toronto. He was a fun-loving, light hearted kind of guy. He made friends easily and endeared himself to all who knew him. He loved country music and enjoyed a good time with family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Jacke (Crossan), mother and father, Laurie and Isabel (Carter) Delaney and brother Glenroy ("Bud") and twin sisters at birth. He is survived by his brothers and sisters; Reg (Ruth), Truro; Jean Desmeules, Red Lake, Ontario; Georgina Delaney, Truro; Harold (Denise), Truro; Helen Maude (Donnie) McPhee, Truro; Evelyn (Eric) Weaver, Valley; Joan (Brian) Ellis, North River; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Private family burial will take place at a later date in the Belmont Cemetery.
