Gordon Ellertson of Galilee, Sk., born January 18th, 1948, passed away February 3rd, 2012 at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital at age 64. Gordon was predeceased by his father Harold and brother Leonard Ellertson. His memories will be cherished by his wife Lorrie Chappel; son Cain (Roberta) Quam, Jesse, Cheyenne & Jaelynn; daughter Kimberly (Jeremy) Simpson, Adrianna & Jorja; daughter Joyce (Kurtis) Rissling, Maddie; son Cole Ellertson; mother Loretta Ellertson; sisters: Mary (Robin) Mair and Cathy (Bob) Freimark; and niece Cynthia (Robbie) Lee & Jax. Gordon’s happiest moments were spent watching his family work together on the ranch. He was a jack of all trades and a true stockman. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 10th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Moose Jaw Alliance Church (corner of 9th Ave. and Thatcher Drive West) with Marvin Auseth officiating. The family wishes to compile memories of Gordon. For those who would like to contribute, a box will be available on the guest register table at the service. In memory of Gordon, memorials may be given to the Old Wives 4-H Club, 78-325 4th Ave. S.W., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 5V2. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.
