Passed away peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on February 6, 2012, Doris Williams, age 92 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Harris (1986); infant daughter Cynthia; parents: Herbert and Jessie Sullivan; brothers: Cyril, Harry and Boyd; sons-in-law: Jerome Jordon and Jerry Pitre and Diane’s companion Dick Manning. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories daughters: Shirley Pitre and Diane McGrath; brother Rex; sisters: Bernice Sullivan (Clarence) and Lois Noseworthy (Charl); grandchildren: Bob Jordon, Karen Sheikh (Eric) and Catherine Jordon (Bruce), Melanie Wong (Hanford), Jason McGrath (Erin), Joanne King and Jane McGrath (André); five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Effie and Norma Sullivan and Vira Williams; brother-in-law Henry Williams and many other relatives and friends especially those at the Kinsman Manor and North Pond Personal Care Home. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Wednesday, February 8 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, February 9 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Pouch Cove with interment at the All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Pouch Cove. Reception to follow at the All Saints Anglican Church Hall. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the All Saints Anglican Church, Pouch Cove.
