Peacefully at the Garden Home on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, of Mrs. Selima “Meme” Kassouff (nee Joseph) of Charlottetown, in her 102nd year.
Beloved wife of the late Ayoub Kassouff, and dear sister of Betty MacLean. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Frankie Reid, Melissa Donovan, Aliceanne Reid-Doyle, John Farris Reid; grandnieces and nephews Jackson, Jayden, Jordan, John, Reid and Bella; very special cousin Dalal Dow (George); and sister-in-law Judy Reid. Predeceased by her parents Sliman Joseph and Alice (nee Mamye) Reid; stepfather, Frank Reid; sister, Sadie; and brothers George, Clarence “Soggy” and Johnnie Reid.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10:45 Friday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at St. Peters Anglican Cemetery.
Visiting hours at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
